We discuss boom mics, throat mics, bone mics, skull mics, jawbone mics, stereo headsets, PTT Buttons, earbuds, and all the other pieces that go with it.

Using an earbud or headset allows you to listen in to confidential information without the public or your casualty hearing the parts they shouldn't. Adding a pair of ear defenders over it, gives you the ability to work with helicopters, even better add a throat mic.
