Podcast Espisode 9 - Microphones For 2-Way Radio in Emergency Response

D4H HQ, IRELAND - In this episode of the Podcast, Donnchadh Mac Cobb from Adventure Training Ireland joins us again to discuss microphones for use on 2-way radios and intercoms in Emergency Response. We discuss boom mics, throat mics, bone mics, skull mics, jawbone mics, stereo headsets, PTT Buttons, earbuds, and all the other pieces that go with it.

Using an earbud or headset allows you to listen in to confidential information without the public or your casualty hearing the parts they shouldn't. Adding a pair of ear defenders over it, gives you the ability to work with helicopters, even better add a throat mic.
