Contact Update Emails Off By Default

DUBLIN, IRELAND - Contact update emails have been switched 'off' by default. If you are 'member+' or higher, these are the emails you get when a member updates his or her phone number or email address in their [Account Settings]. We saw many large teams (80+ members) getting flooded by these update mails after sign-up and so we now give you the option to switch them 'on' if you choose to.

To switch them 'on' visit your [Account Details] page.

DUBLIN, IRELAND - You can now bulk update attendance pages with the new select-all buttons. Using groups of members [Members] -> [Groups] you can apply an attendance status and individual durations very quickly. Select 'Operation Members' and click [To Attend], [Cannot Attend] or [Not Invited] to update all rows in 1 click.

We're getting faster. Keep these ideas coming in, all teams are benefiting.

Master Permissions Switch

DUBLIN, IRELAND - 'Account Owners' can now decide a 'sharing permissions' policy for their entire team. Previously members themselves were the only people to control which other team members could access their contact details. Now you may set team-wide policies or leave the setting as 'Optional' in their control. To access these settings go to [Configure Team] -> "Choose the information shared by your team members."

This change came about as the Email and SMS functions ( [Members] -> [Messaging] ) required all members to have shared their contact details.

Please respect your team members wishes when auto-sharing their contact details with the rest of your team. If you haven't distributed them previously on paper, you may wish to check for their permission.

Note: Users who are 'Member+', 'Editor', 'Owner' can see private fields, but no longer use the messaging function unless the person has shared their details. Users who are 'Member' see 'shared' fields only.

Enhanced Messaging

DUBLIN, IRELAND - Quickfire links are now on the dashboard to email a member or group of people very fast. Click the top envelope to email everyone who is "on call now". Or, jump into a group or qualification to message that group of members.

We've also added additions that who is going to get your message, and who is not when you're composing. This list of members varies depending on who has or hasn't shared their contact details.

SMS is in production now for the UK & Ireland. If you'd like to join the SMS trial to test for your team - drop an email.
