Email Delivery Improved!

Heli Ops

DUBLIN, IRELAND - After a morning out helicopter wet winch exercising (see above!), the afternoon was spent installing a new email server (for the techies). We're now up and running, and you'll see delivery rates increase dramatically. We'd heard lots of you complaining about losing invite emails, messages and feedback mails into the ether so it was time to do something about it.

Comments on the new system welcome.

Weekly Briefing Emails Live!

DUBLIN, IRELAND - Today, a long awaited launch of the weekly briefing emails. This email is prepared especially for each member once-a-week to give a personalised briefing of what's happening in the team.

The aim is to

  • increase awareness of team resources,

  • share information about off-call members,

  • notify about upcoming activities or missed incidents,

  • remind about confirming attendance,

  • distribute the whiteboard messages.

You can go to [Account Settings] (used to be called 'Edit Profile') to switch-on/off your weekly email briefing. Choose a suitable time and day of week to receive the once-a-week mail.

Admins can visit [Manage Access] to see which of your members have opted-in to receive a weekly briefing.

Note: All existing members will be given a choice on their next sign-in to subscribe to receive their weekly briefing by email. New members (who have been given 'access permission') will be subscribe by default. Past members, or those without access, or correct email addresses, will not receive weekly briefings.
